+ What should I expect? What will the retreat flow be like?

The intention for this retreat is to find the perfect balance between structure and unstructured freedom. One of the blessing of going on retreat is time to pause, relax, renew and reconnect.

Each day will begin with a ritual morning practice embodying one of the manifestations of the Goddess to set the tone and intention for the day. Tea, coffee, as well as purified drinking water will be available at all times.

After our morning practice, we'll gather together for an organic, farm to table brunch.

Afternoons will be spent either exploring local temples and ceremonies, special workshops, as well as open time for rest and renewal.

We'll wind down the day with a hearty dinner together. From there, you can star gaze, take a late night dip in the infinity pool, chat over tea, this time is for you.

+ It says this is a Goddess retreat, but can anyone go?

The container for this program will be connecting with and embodying the sacred feminine, the Great Goddess, known as Shakti. This is a life force energy that is held within all of us, within the entire manifest world. We take this sacred pilgrimage to Bali to immerse ourselves in this retreat experience because the Goddess is truly alive here, and is worshiped in the local Hindu Balinese temples.

This is a retreat for anyone wanting to reconnect with the sacred feminine. For anyone ready to celebrate the Goddess in all her forms.

Shakti is not bound to any gender or physicality. This retreat experience is open to all.

The only requirement is that you honor and respect the sacred container we are co-creating.

+ When should I arrive? When does the retreat end?

Our retreat experience will begin the afternoon of April 30th with arrival at 4pm. If you need to arrive earlier that day, just let us know. Your room will likely not be available, but we can stash your luggage and you can relax by the pool in the meantime.

Wanting to arrive early and stay after the retreat ends? We will have a private online portal for our group to help coordinate travel plans and lodging.

Our retreat will end the morning of May 6th. Similar to check in, let us know if you want to hang after the retreat ends and our team at Soulshine Bali will stash your bags.

+ How will I get to the retreat center from the airport?

Before arrival, let us know if you want help coordinating transportation to and from the airport, as well as to and from Ubud. The transfer fees are not included in the retreat, because many participants choose to travel on their own before or after the training.

For yoga teachers, this retreat module counts as 50 CEC (continuing education credits) with Yoga Alliance.

Additional activities, spa services as well as airport transfer can be arranged for an additional fee upon request. Airfare to and from Depensar, Bali is not included. Please note travel insurance is not included either, though we we highly recommend purchasing.

+ Do I need a visa?

Most countries qualify for Visa on arrival. Our team will guide you through the process and keep you updated on requirements for entry.

Please note that the Indonesian government requires a passport valid for at least six months from the date of arrival in Indonesia to enter the country.

+ What about COVID?

We will be following all current safety guidelines at the time of the retreat. Everyone's comfort and safety is always our highest priority.

Bali's borders are open. We will keep all participants up to date on any new restrictions and requirements.

+ What is your cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel by January 1st 2023 or before, you will be eligible for a refund minus the deposit, if we are able to fill your spot. Cancellations 90 days before the start of the retreat are non-refundable.

Know that on our end, our costs are fixed and non-refundable once the rooms are reserved with your deposit. Basically, you are held to the same policies as we are running the retreat.

If there are exceptional circumstances, such as covid-related restrictions, we will do everything we can to work with you and adapt this policy accordingly.

If the retreat is postponed or rescheduled, your balance will be applied to the later date. If you are unable to attend the later date and we can fill your spot, you will be eligible for a refund of up to 50% of your payment minus the non-refundable deposit.

We strongly recommend getting cancel for any reason travel insurance to help cover any unexpected expenses, cancellations or delays. We have even priced this retreat at a lower rate to help offset any additional insurance costs, so definitely take advantage of the $500 off Early Bird discount!

+ Are there payment plans?

YES! We believe that this work and retreat experience of renewal, community support and self discovery are essential. We strive to keep costs low and always offer payment plans to make these life changing experiences as financially accessible as possible.

After making your initial $500 deposit, we’ll set up a monthly installment schedule for the balance. Once you’ve booked your accommodation, our team will contact you directly to see whether you’d like to set up a payment plan or not.

You decide how many installments you’d like to divide the balance into, as well as whether it is monthly, bi-monthly or weekly. Retreat balance must be paid in full a minimum of 2 weeks before the retreat start date.

After we decide on what payment plan installments work for you, we’ll set you up with automatic reminders through our payment system.

Please note that $150 payment plan fee will be added to your total to help offset accounts payable, additional fees, and administrative costs.
